No, and most of our recurring customers are not home. Every cleaner who enters your home is a background checked employee of this company, not a subcontractor, and we are fully insured. Plenty of customers would rather be out getting their day back, which is the entire point of hiring a cleaning company. If you would rather be home, that is completely fine too, and for the first visit some people prefer it.
Who is actually in your house
Employees, not contractors. Everyone is background checked before they are ever in a customer's home, and everyone goes through five or six interviews to be hired in the first place. We made the employee decision deliberately, and it costs us more than the contractor model would. We did it because you cannot hold a standard, or a background check policy, across people who do not work for you.

How access usually works
Most recurring customers give us a code, a lockbox or a key. We schedule the same team to your home wherever we can, which means the people with access are people you know rather than whoever was available. If a new team member is coming through for cross training, you will meet them alongside the cleaners you already have.
Pets
Tell us at the walkthrough. Most dogs are fine and most cats hide. What we need to know is what the routine is, whether anything should be kept closed, and whether anyone needs letting out or absolutely not letting out.
If something is not right
We follow up with a text after every clean, including for weekly customers, specifically so you can tell us. If something was missed we come back and fix it. There is no cost for that and no argument about it.
