It is slower, it is more detailed, and it goes after the accumulation in the places that a regular visit passes over: the grime line behind a faucet, the film on cabinet fronts, baseboards, door frames, the tile grout in a shower that has quietly given up.

What deep cleaning actually involves
Where the extra time goes
Kitchens and bathrooms take the bulk of it. Grout and tile, shower glass and door tracks, faucet bases, cabinet exteriors, appliance fronts and the sides you never see, backsplashes. Then the detail work through the rest of the home: baseboards, door frames, light switches, window sills, vents, ceiling fan blades, and the edges of floors where a vacuum normally skips.
When a deep clean is the right call
Before a recurring plan starts, so the maintenance visits have something to maintain. Spring and fall, when the house changes over. After a long stretch without service. Before hosting. After a renovation dust settles, though note we do not do post construction cleanup itself.
What it is not
It is not a magic reset on damage. If grout is stained through or a surface is worn, we will tell you that at the walkthrough instead of taking your money and disappointing you. We would rather be honest about what a clean can and cannot fix.
Surfaces get the product they should get
We run off written standards on this. All purpose cleaner never touches wood or marble. Disinfectant goes where disinfectant is actually warranted rather than everywhere, because everywhere is how finishes get ruined.

Questions about deep cleaning
What is the difference between a deep clean and a regular clean?
A regular clean maintains a home that is already at a standard. A deep clean establishes that standard. Deep cleaning adds grout and tile, shower glass and tracks, baseboards, door frames, cabinet exteriors, vents, fan blades and the built up grime a maintenance visit is not scheduled to reach. It takes substantially longer.
How long does a deep clean take?
Considerably longer than a maintenance visit, and it depends entirely on the size and condition of the home. We give you a real answer at the walkthrough rather than a guess over the phone.
Do I need a deep clean before recurring service?
Usually, yes. Most homes need one reset before a recurring rhythm makes sense. If yours does not, we will say so.
Do you do post construction cleaning?
No. It is a genuinely different job done properly, and we would rather refer you to someone who specializes in it than do it badly.
Do you charge for the estimate?
No. The walkthrough is free, there is no obligation, and we do not take a deposit.
